As a former 15-year healthcare executive I’ve always applauded the work of The Executive Leadership Council (hereafter referred to as ELC). Last week I had the pleasure of having breakfast with the current ELC President/CEO; Michael Hyter.
Michael and I met in August of 2022 on Martha’s Vineyard and I was immediately drawn to him. Not because he is President of an organization that has a membership of the highest ranking 800+ black executives, but because of the genuineness of his conversation. Again as a former executive who had responsibility for hundreds of people; I know CAP (my son’s taught me that one) when I hear it or observe their body language. Over the years I’ve learned the words that people say that lets me know I’m supposed to be connected to them forever.
