Nation’s largest physician network selects crowdsourced delivery to augment migration to telehealth (Powered by CourMed®)
The spread of COVID-19 has led to a 80% reduction in physician office visits and physicians had to quickly migrate to telehealth. This migration also led to a decision among the physician network to innovate the delivery of healthcare items through CourMed®.
“CourMed is an enterprise software company. Crowdsourced delivery was the first solution we introduced to healthcare providers and we are honored to partner with such a large and innovative physician network” said Derrick L. Miles.
There has been an influx of general crowdsourced delivery companies (Uber/Lyft/Instacart) pivoting to healthcare items/supplies as a result of the pandemic. Recent reports identify crowdsourced delivery being utilized by 96% of all industries by year 2026. “We are excited with the pivot of general crowdsourced delivery companies into healthcare; it validates our platform and more Americans can Stay Home and slow the spread of COVID-19” said Derrick L. Miles.
